How long does your vinyl fencing last?
Vinyl can be a durable material. As with most items, there is higher and lower quality alternatives. If you use the vinyl fencing ASL recommends, it should last you at least 40 years.
What colors of fencing are available?
Customers primarily purchase white, tan, khaki, or a combination of those colors.
Why should ASL install the fence?
The cost of having ASL install the fence is not much more than purchasing the materials. Of course, you could install it yourself: digging the holes, pouring concrete, making sure the posts are level, inserting the tongue and groove pieces, etc. Or you could have ASL install the fencing and save yourself hours of hard labor. Plus, the installation will likely be completed more rapidly AND you’ll have ASL’s one-year installation warranty.
Can I install the fence myself?
Yes. When you purchase the fencing material from ASL with the intent to install yourself, you’ll receive a written installation guide. Additionally, you are welcome to call me and I’ll answer your questions. If, after buying the materials, you decide you’d prefer me to install it for you, that’s fine too.
How much are ASL’s fences?
ASL is competitive with the market. Call for a free estimate: (435) 512-6030.
Why should I choose ASL?
Due to my years of experience and my commitment to doing things right, you’ll receive a higher quality installation that will ensure your fence will remain standing for years to come. For example, I dig wider holes and use more concrete, thus creating a stronger foundation.
I’ll provide a custom design and effective installation, taking into account the layout of your specific property, your soil type, the water table, the weather in your area, etc. What do you do if you have an electrical transformer box or sprinklers where you want your fence? What if your property is located in a high wind area? How do you protect the integrity of your fence from water freezing inside the posts? I can help with all of that.
How many years of experience do you have?
I’ve been working with fences for seventeen (17) years.
How does process work?
First, give me a call or email me and we’ll schedule an appointment. During the appointment, I’ll consult with you to understand your vision of what you want. I’ll also perform an onsite property measurement to determine how much fencing is required. (If needed, you may email me a plot plan or I may be able to use Google Earth to measure out how much fence you’ll need.)
Then I’ll work up your free estimate. From there, we’ll schedule the installation and you pay a deposit. I’ll take care of acquiring Blue Stake clearance to ensure that we avoid disturbing underground utilities. The Blue Stake process will take a minimum of two days.
Your city’s planning and zoning ordinances may require that you obtain a permit from the city before installation of the fence begins. This will be your responsibility, and is usually inexpensive. Please note that obtaining the permit may take some time. This needs to be taken into account when determining when installation can begin.
With Blue Stake clearance and the city permit obtained, installation begins. The first day will be used for setting fence posts with concrete. On the second day the tongue and groove (the main part of the fence) will be installed. Any gates will likely be installed on the third day.
Finally, you’ll enjoy your quality-installed vinyl fencing for many years.
How long does it take to install a fence?
Installing a fence will generally take less than a week. Larger properties may take more time. This does not include the time required to receive Blue Stake clearance and the city permit (if necessary).
What warranty or guarantee do you provide?
Material manufacturers provide a warranty for color and parts. This can vary by manufacturer and the material chosen, but can be as long as 40 years. ASL provides a one-year installation warranty. Ask about the warranty for the specific materials you are interested in.
